Premium cast vinyl (3M, Avery Dennison) lasts 5-7 years with proper care. Cheap calendared film fails in 1-2 years — we only use premium cast film.
Does wrapping damage my paint?
No — properly installed and removed vinyl protects the original paint. Factory paint in good condition is preserved underneath. Removal is clean when done by professionals.
Wrap vs paint — which is better?
Wrap is reversible, faster, and protects resale value. Specialty finishes (color-shift, chrome, carbon) are impossible with paint. Paint is permanent; wrap gives you flexibility.
Can you wrap over scratches or rust?
Vinyl needs a smooth, sound surface. Minor imperfections can be addressed first; rust must be repaired before wrapping. We assess honestly at consultation.
How long does a full wrap take?
Accent wraps: 1 day. Full color change: 3-5 days. Quality wrapping can't be rushed — proper edge work and post-heating take time.
Can I wash a wrapped car?
Yes — hand wash is best. Avoid automatic brush washes and pressure-washing edges directly. We provide full care instructions at pickup.
